Surgery

I'm getting ready to go in for surgery tomorrow. I leave Sunday evening and have surgery Monday morning. Bill will stay the night and bring me back home on Tuesday. I'll be out of touch for a bit, but once I'm better, then I'll get back to some comments for all of you!

Playground time

We've been going to the playground behind our house after school to play. The kids have such a great time. They are SO filthy when I DRAG them into the house, the bath water is disgusting!!! Here are some pictures of them and one of my next door neighbor, Jen.

Thank you Dawn!!!

Dawn made me this AWESOME flag quilt hanging. It's SO special to me that I'll always remember her and our time together in Korea. Now. with that said....I need to do something VERY special for her!!

Moving

There are some of you that know, but most of you don't. We will be moving this summer. Not off the pen, but north of here. We'll be moving to Camp Humphrey's. It's official as of Friday. I've know about it for a couple of weeks, but was sworn to secrecy. I have many friends here in Taegu that I will miss, but when you come to shop in Osan, let me know and we can meet up!!

For another subject, we went to the Korean-American Friendship Circle last night. It was fun, but long. We are co-sponsoring with our friends Brady and Terry. In our group, there are our family and couple, then there is Dr. and Mrs. Lee, and 4 college students. We are planning on getting together April 7 after the exercise. Once Brady forwards me the pictures they took last night, forgot our camera, I'll post those.

Brodie's school

Well, we don't know much about Brodie's new school, as he doesn't talk much about it at all. I did find out that he likes to give his lunch away. Daddy and I will be having a long talk with Brodie about this. If he chooses to do this, then he'll have to eat the Korean lunch at school. I'm going to make sure that the teachers discourage him giving his lunch away and see if they can get him to eat it instead. Here's a picture of Brodie and Creed getting ready to leave for Brodie's bus stop.

Brodie's school bus

It's a Party!!!

Today we had Creed's 2 year old birthday party. We invited our next door neighbors and our across the way neighbors. All of us have children that are around the same age. We all had great conversation and the kids had a great time playing. Creed loved his cake that Mommy made, even if he did try to sample it before the party even started. He got some nice gifts that he loves. Of course they are ALL boy and that's all the better for him (maybe not for me though!=) )

Happy Birthday

Just wanted to say a big Happy Birthday to my baby. I guess he really isn't my "baby", but he'll always be my baby no matter how old he is! Happy birthday Creed, it's so hard to believe that you are already 2 years old. You bring our family great joy and laughter.

Brodie's First day at Kiddie Kingdom

Today is Brodie's first day at his "an-yong-sae-o" school. He was very happy that he was riding a school bus, more like a bright yellow van, but hey...it's his school bus! I'm excited to hear about his first day. He was supposed to go yesterday, however he got a stomach bug. I think he was a little overwhelmed once he got on his bus. All the Korean children and bus monitor were in his face. They wanted to know his name, how old he was, etc. We should hear some very exciting stories from this little guy! I'll post pictures and how his day went later on today!

Bill's award

Bill received this award for doing some sort of good job on one exercise, brief, etc. He was sent these pictures. I would have posted some pictures I took, however he forgot that I was going to take some at lunch and took the eagle back. They recycle the eagles as they are expensive to give to each solider, civilian. Good job honey bun!!
